Hello Everyone!
It's now April. I remembered half way through the morning that it's April Fool's Day today. No one around me has mentioned it, and no one has played any pranks on me yet, so I think I'm good for another year.
I used to live in a place called Vineland in Ontario. I'm pretty sure that over there, the daffodils and tulips are all up and probably have been for a while, but here in Prince Edward Island, the days seem to be alternating between snow covered and hard bare ground, sometimes with last year's brown grass showing.
In spite of that, we have our first springtime craft fair coming up this Saturday - for any locals, it's at the Hernewood Public School.
Dennis has been making soap almost every day. He does this between January and May to be ready for when everyone is opening their stores for tourist season, the craft fair season gets really busy, and we have more traffic at our little store in Duvar. He has had some ideas for new kinds of soap this year, but they're not fully thought out yet, so we're all waiting with baited breath.
---- oh my. Dennis just called me over to see a video he just watched. It's someone he watches all the time who works in concrete - patios etc. And it's a tear jerker video - "I grew too fast, that's what social media does, I thought I had to keep growing to keep people interested, but when the bank calls, reality hits - and APRIL FOOLS!"
And here I thought I was safe! lol.
Well, no April Fools here, but instead hoping you all have a lovely and enjoyable spring. Don't forget to grow some flowers for your table and fill up on some of our lovely soap for your bath :)
Talk to you soon,
Teresa and Dennis
